Florida Probe Periodontal Charting System:
Do you have periodontal disease?  Signs of periodontal disease are mostly SILENT. It is a painless disease that starts with bacterial plaque that over time invades the gum line and quietly and painlessly erodes the bone.  On occasion you will notice that you have bad breath, redness of the gums, bleeding when you floss or brush.
Don't wait for these signs- see your dentist or periodontist regularly.  They will measure your "pockets".  This is the only way to know for sure if you have periodontal disease.
At our office we use the state of the art technology, "Florida Probe" to gently measure your pockets, check for recession (root exposure), looseness of your teeth.  The comprehensive examination also includes a thorough "Risk Assessment", measuring risk factors including but not limited to medications, genetic risk, heart disease, and diabetes with periodontal disease.
Oral Hygiene and Oral Health
Prevent Decay with Xylitol:
Xylitol prevents decay a growing problem in adults.  Do you have alot of dentistry that you want to protect from decay?  Check out the following products we recommend that contain "Xylitol"  a natural way to prevent decay.
For how it works, click here  --
Products we recommend to prevent decay (cavities) - we like these products because of the high concentration of xylitol they have.  You need 6 g a day!

Do you have "Dry Mouth"?
The causes of dry mouth vary and it is important to know why you have "dry mouth" before using these products.  Medications, stress, dehydration, radiation treatrment of the mouth and autoimmune conditions such as Sjogren's syndrome are known causes.  Ask the doctor if these products may help you!
Salese™ Dry Mouth (Xerostomia) product:  can be purchased by clicking on link to the Nuvora website.  These are easy to use "lozenges" that many people who have tried other products get relief from.

Beyond brushing and flossing
ORAL PROBIOTICS:       Good oral hygiene and regular visits to your dentist and periodontist are critical for predictable, long term oral health.  PROPER brushing and cleaning between your teeth daily need to be a part of your routine to STAY healthy.
Ask us if you may also be a candidate for ORAL PROBIOTICS- not to be mistaken for probiotics for digestion.
For more information on Oral Probiotics we may recommend for you click on the following link:

Information on Soft Tissue Grafts and Bone Grafts:

We are using "Mucograft":   Do you have "recession of the gums"?  Ask us if you are a candidate for using this xenograft material to rebuild your "gum" instead of your own tissue
